Yesterday, I saw a movie "21" (決勝21點), and  were interested in an expression "Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner." Hence did a little search for its origination, I found a reasonable explanation from "Urbandictionary."

Here it is:

The legend tells that years ago every casino in Las Vegas had a three-piece chicken dinner with a
potato and a veggie for $1.79. A standard bet back then was $2, hence when you won a bet you had enough for a chicken dinner!”

So, the call of glorious victory rang out "Winner Winner Chicken Dinner."

It's funny, isn't it?!

Next time when you hit the jackpot, you are in the position of shouting "Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner." Don't hesitate, just enjoy using this English expression!^^
